Engaging Students: Essays in Music Pedagogy presents short essays on the subject of student-centered learning, and serves as an open-access, web-based resource for those teaching college-level classes in music. This is the seventh volume of Engaging Students, focused on curriculum reform in higher education music curriculum. This is also our inaugural volume published by The Ohio State University Libraries; we are thrilled to be working with our library partners on the journal. You can read more about the original vision behind this project here.
We hope that you enjoy reading this volume as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.
